I Am Not Ashamed

Life is lived better with benchmarks. We understand benchmarks are crucial to measuring progress and judging success. They help us figure out how far we’ve come and evaluate the distance we still need to travel.

Since its launch date of February 27, 2010, we’ve been carefully tracking the “I am not ashamed” campaign and we’d like to share some exciting benchmarks with you. Rejoice with us! And keep praying that thousands more around the globe will be reached through the message of this important campaign.

To date, close to 512,000 people have viewed the 2 minute video on YouTube, which indicates a #2 rating for “Most Viewed” and #21 rating for “Most Discussed” videos this month in the “Nonprofits and Activism” category. The campaign has appeared on 31 blogs and websites across the social web, including CrossWalk, Urban Christian News, Breaking Christian News, and WORLDmag.com.

With the broadcast of the commercials running on Fox News, we are continuing to reach thousands of Americans each day with Bible verses like John 3:16, Isaiah 41:10, Romans 1:16, Genesis 1:1 and Psalm 23:1. Top religion, news, advertising and marketing websites have garnered thousands of highly targeted views, and video placement on Magma was shared by 6 tweeps with 11,544 followers. The video has been “stumbled” 26,000 times and has appeared on the “Jesus Daily” fan page, to a standing ovation of 5,316 “likes” and 448 comments.

Award winning advertiser-blogger, Steve Hall, presented “I am not ashamed” on the homepage of AdRants, and the story was also featured on the AdGabber homepage, drawing hundreds of guests to the website (now at 103,000 views) and our Facebook page (now at 14,000 fans).

Conversation on the web reveals the “I am not ashamed” campaign is “thought provoking” and it “stirs open conversation about the Bible and religion.” Interestingly, it continues to be a popular topic on discussion boards and forums such as “Freethought” and “Rationalism Discussion Board Online (TOL),” where many responders were forum officers and veteran members.

We hope a closer look at these compelling statistics gives you a greater perspective of how God’s Word (to His glory!) is being proclaimed unashamedly and uncompromisingly on many media fronts through the I am not ashamed campaign. We encourage you to share this site with your friends and family—including your church family and pastor—so we can continue having an impact on a nation that needs Christ.
